One can't imagine

There is no general definition of equilibrium
which holds true for all systems. Energy expended
while filling a hole is information entering
a marketplace. Imagine circuitry
inside a circuit. Less a dimension and more
a continuous loop. Sometimes perspective
is key. Swallowing a key means some doors
stay closed—and maybe they should. It is easier
to theorize new laws of thermodynamics
in isolated systems. In theory, of course;
you can’t unbake a cake. There were a people
who lived adjacent the Mississippi
who engineered mountains by carrying
handfuls of dirt, then releasing.
On the banks of the river Styx,
naked save his sin, Sisyphus
first foresaw the boulder,
then opted in.
